Once your DBS application has been submitted, it will progress through several stages of processing.

For Basic DBS checks, an electronic certificate is usually available from the DBS within 24 hours on request, with the paper certificate usually arriving at your address within 1 to 5 days. This time frame only begins once you have provided us with all the correct information.

Processing times can vary depending on identity verification, the accuracy of your application, and how long the DBS and the police take to complete their checks. Occasionally, delays can occur at these stages that are outside of our control.
