All checks are processed by First Job Services, which is recognised by the Disclosure and Barring Service as a Responsible Organisation for Basic Checks
We are committed to providing a reliable and professional service and take customer concerns and complaints seriously. We aim to resolve any issues fairly and will always consider refund requests where there has been a genuine problem with our service.
If you have any questions regarding this Refund Policy, please contact our customer support team through our website.
In the event that you wish to cancel your application, you may request a refund before your application has been submitted for processing.
Where a refund is approved before submission, we will provide a full refund of the amount paid.
You should contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order. Once an application has been submitted for processing, cancellation may no longer be possible.
We understand that circumstances can change, and we will always do our best to assist where possible.
If you request a refund within 24 hours of placing your order, and your application has not yet been completed or submitted for processing, we can provide a full refund of the amount paid. Refund requests made after 24 hours may be subject to a small administration fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Once your application has been completed and your certificate has been issued and sent, we are unfortunately unable to provide a refund, as the service has been fully completed.
If you have any concerns regarding your application, please contact our customer support team and we will be happy to review the situation and assist wherever possible.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all information provided during the application process is accurate and that the correct type of check is selected.
Where an application has been submitted using incorrect information or an incorrect check type has been selected, a refund may not be available. However, we will consider the individual circumstances and do our best to assist.
We may require additional information or documentation to complete your application.
If requested information or documentation is not provided within 30 days, your application may be considered incomplete and closed. Where processing has already commenced, a refund may not be available.
If you are experiencing difficulties providing the required information, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the situation with you.
Applications may be subject to processing by relevant services and/or third parties. Processing times may vary and are not always within our control.
A delay in processing does not automatically qualify for a refund where we have correctly submitted and processed your application. However, if there is an issue or unusual circumstance, please contact us and we will consider the matter fairly.
If an application cannot be completed due to inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable information, a refund may not normally be available.
However, we will consider each situation individually and will always aim to provide a fair and reasonable resolution where possible.
Where a refund has been approved, a refund will be provided.
Please allow a reasonable period for the refund to be processed.
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or otherwise affect any rights or remedies that you may have under applicable UK consumer protection law.
Where you have a statutory right to a refund or other remedy, that right will continue to apply.
We understand that circumstances can vary from customer to customer. We are happy to consider exceptional circumstances and may provide a full or partial refund, credit or alternative remedy where appropriate.
Any such decision will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service or believe there is an issue with your application, please contact our customer support team through our website.
We will review your concerns and work with you to reach a fair and reasonable resolution.
